Keynote Speakers

We are delighted to welcome two outstanding keynote speakers who will bring complementary academic and professional perspectives to our conference theme, “Marketing in the Age of Plenty?”
Academic Keynote Speaker
Professor Jenni Romaniuk
Ehrenberg-Bass Institute, Adelaide University
Jenni is a Research Professor at Adelaide University and Associate Director (International) at the Ehrenberg-Bass Institute for Marketing Science. She has created two areas of marketing measurement and metrics: Distinctive Assets and Mental Availability/Category Entry Points. These are now standard research areas commissioned by most marketing firms and product offerings provided by most market research houses.

She leads these two research areas at the Institute and is strongly connected with industry as she conducts contract research for companies around the world, ranging from packaged goods, services, durables and B2B across five continents. She also advises on and designs brand health tracking instruments for clients, drawing on over a decade of rather torturous R&D into the topic. She thanks several of her PhD and Master's by Research students for being willing to adventure into rather archaic topics in her quest for knowledge on how to track brand health.
She is prior co-editor of Journal of Advertising Research, and has published in a wide range of journals include Marketing Letters, European Journal of Marketing, International Marketing Management and Journal of Business Research. Jenni has also published in, and sits on the editorial review boards of International Journal of Market Research, Journal of Product and Brand Management and International Journal of Advertising. She is on the senior advisory board of the Journal of Advertising Research. She is also a regular contributor to Marketing Week and fond of posting on LinkedIn, but only when she has something interesting to say or share.
She has written three books in her core research areas: Building Distinctive Brand Assets, Better Brand Health and How Brands Grow Part 2 (with Professor Byron Sharp). All published by Oxford University Press. She’d like to write more but there are only so many hours in the day. But here’s looking forward to a fourth book in 2027.
Industry Keynote Speaker
Juanita Neville-Te Rito
Founder & Managing Director RX Group
Juanita Neville-Te Rito has spent 30+ years inside and alongside some of Australasia's most recognised consumer brands, accumulating an evidence base that is stubbornly, unapologetically real-world.
Named by the U.S. National Retail Federation as a Retail Voice for 2026 - one
of just 50 global leaders recognised as catalysts for progress and innovation,
Juanita works at the intersection of customer experience, human behaviour and commercial transformation. She has advised and worked with brands including Woolworths, Noel Leeming, The Warehouse, Spark, Google, Burger King, Pizza Hut, Honda, Estée Lauder, Freedom Furniture and many more, across retail, hospitality, services and beyond.
As Founder and Managing Director of RX Group and RXCOLAB.AI, she translates customer insight into strategy and execution across ANZ and internationally - including how AI is reshaping the way businesses understand, reach and retain customers. She is a regular media commentator, leadership advisor and masterclass facilitator. Juanita is also a member of the Massey Business School Advisory Board and an Advisory Board Member of NRF 2026: Retail's Big Show Asia Pacific.
At the heart of Juanita's work is a single enduring question: in a world of increasing choice, channel complexity and technological abundance, what actually makes a customer choose, return and stay loyal?
