Frequently asked questions
The ANZMAC Conference is from 30th of November to 2nd of December 2026. The Doctoral Colloquium runs from 27-29th of November 2026.

All social events are included in the price of the conference ticket.

Conference Gala Dinner: 2 December 2026
Depending on venue capacity and availability, you can purchase an additional ticket for the Gala dinner for guest(s), such as a non-attending partner. (Children under 18 are not permitted at the social events due to alcohol licence requirements.)
Refund policy
All conference registrations are non-refundable. In the event of extenuating circumstances, it is up to the discretion of the organising committee if a refund is offered (less booking and service fees). If you have any questions, please contact: conference@anzmac.org.
For attendees who require a Visa to attend the conference, applications completed after 31 October 2026 will not be considered for a refund if the Visa application is denied.
Please note as payments are received in AUD, refunds will also be completed in AUD. For international cards, the refund may vary in your local currency as it will be impacted by the conversion rate at the time.
No, the conference is entirely in-person this year.
Some sessions may be recorded. This will be determined once the program is released.

A maximum of two paper presentations per author is permitted, including as non-presenting co-author. The conference schedule and concurrent sessions are based on the number of accepted papers and related presenters, therefore we cannot make allowances for all co-authors.
Conference proceedings will be made available via the ANZMAC website.
Yes, an invoice can be provided to pay via direct debit on request. Once funds have cleared, you will be given a code to claim your registration.

ten (10) registrations are required to be purchased.
If you are travelling to New Zealand for a business event, such as a conference, meeting or seminar, you need to apply for a business visitor visa. You can find more information here.
Australian citizens and permanent residents do not need a visa or a New Zealand Electronic Travel Authority (NZeTA) to enter New Zealand. If unsure, please check with your travel provider if this applies to you.
Citizens that are from visa waiver countries may be eligible to enter under a NZeTA. More information is available here.
ANZMAC will not assist with visa applications or funding. However, you may request a Letter of Invitation if you are a presenting author.

No, but we can support you by providing you with a letter of invitation if your paper has been accepted into the conference.
Please note that you are responsible for paying all fees and expenses related to your participation in the Conference and any necessary insurance for health and travel. Should you be requesting a letter of invitation, this does NOT include any financial aid such as waived fees, financial support, or accommodation.

Yes, a certificate of attendance for this conference is issued in the weeks following the conference. Should you require a certificate immediately after the conference, please get in touch with us at conference@anzmac.org.
